There is a new siding being built along the Surf Line/Coaster Route in Encintas. Evidently there was a bit of protesting by the locals.

I don't see what the beef is about. The extra track is being built in an area where there already is plenty of room for another track; it's not like they lose parking spaces or park land.

The trains probably won't stop for that long while waiting for a meet.
