My orders from Rail Web book section started to arrive. I ordered 10 books about the historical rail stations depots and terminals. Has another industry left a better legacy of public spaces. Reading about the two largest abandond monuments Buffalo and Michigan Central. It seems what doomed them the start was their locations based on the speculation of the cities centers would expand toward of the new stations. Once convinient trolly lines had been discontinued the two stations are too remote to even be used for commuter hubs.
