Ok, here's a couple of photos to make you think, two photos, taken from approximately the same spot in Harrisburg, Illinois, but about 50 years apart. First shot, of course, is looking north from the hump at Harrisburg Yard in the mid-1950's -- substantial number of loaded hoppers appear to be in the bowl yard. Second picture, is the same view looking north in 2007. This once busy yard was torn out less than 20 years ago, and there is little or no evidence that it ever existed!!
