Does anyone know of a manufacturer of a combined unit consisting of a SPDT (Center off, Spring return) switch and 1 or 2 lights or LEDs showing the switch position? Or do I have to build it out of separate components?

To my knowledge no such unit exists. But building what you describe can be easily done. Just make a trip to your local electrinics parts house to obtain the necessary componets. If you spend more than $10.00 you paid to much.
