I am trying to obtain info about Henry D. Minot, a locating engineer employed by railroads in the late 19th century. I have
been told that Minot, ND was named after him
and would appreciate confirmation. I am also
informed that he worked for other western RRs
in the west after his employment by Great Northern.

I have no confirmation that he was a GN
locating engineer, but several indications
that he was.

Any info about this man would be appreciated.
