I spoke to the people at SPV yesterday, who produce the rather good Railroad Atlases of North America. It seems that Mike Walker, who draws the maps, has been working for the British railway companies producing maps for them and won't be resuming his US atlases until later this year. So we may see Praries East (IA/MO/AR) early 2004 and the final US one, Dakotas and Minnesota some time after that.

Geoff,

Thanks for the update. They do good work.
Do you know if there is a plan to include more Canadian provinces in the future? The New England atlas includes Maritime Provinces but I'm not aware of any other areas of Canada in print yet.

I didn't ask. But seeing as the map on the back shows Canada, and the fact it's called "...of North America", I imagine they have plans to do so... one day!
