The next meeting of the Banning Centennial Train Festival Committee is Monday, February 25, at 10:00 am.

We want this to be a real "Southern Pacific-centered" event so you are welcome to attend to ask questions or participate in the discussions.

The meeting will be held at the Lifepoint Church, 565 N. San Gorgonio Avenue in Banning. This is the proposed indoor location for the Festival swap meet and is one block south of the usual Community Center location.

Please RSVP Train Festival Chairman Joe Warren at joeshopper@verizon.net or 951-845-9914.

If you would like an agenda contact me OFF LIST.

The festival will feature a model contest with prizes, railroad history and artifact exhibits, displays of current railroad and transit operations, model railroad presentations, hobby clinics, modular railroads, a model train and railroad collectible/antique swap meet and information booths for historical and hobby and community groups. There also will be a free self-guided model railroad layout tour in conjunction with the Festival.
