Diesel-electric to all-electric conversion in Cuba
A truly unique locomotive on Hershey Sugar Mill's (Cienfuegos') roster is one of 20 French-built Brissoneau et Lotz diesel-electric locomotives sold to Cuba in 1964 which has been converted into straight-electric locomotive No. 21202. This ingenious conversion seems to be a one-of-a-kind project. We encountered it "resting" in the Camilo Cienfuegos Shops' yard.

Anybody have more info? History, specs, etc.?
