It has been 5 or 6 years since my family and I have been to Horseshoe Curve, and we would like to plan a return trip.
A couple years ago I heard that NS was planning to cut down trees along the curve so you could actually see the trains all the way around, like it used to be in the old PRR days.
Does anyone know if this has happened, or if not, is NS still planning to do it?
Asit was the best time to see trains was in the winter, but the observation area is closed.
Thanks to anyone for their info!
