An AP item in the 4/10/01 LA Times:
Westminster, VT. A freight train derailed early Monday after the engines passed over some track that had been undermined by melting snow runoff. One engine ended up in the adjacent Connecticut River and spilled 2000 gallons of diesel fuel.
