I haven't been at the site for a while. I had to cancel my August train rides (including my first ACELA ride) and eastern Canada cruise due to illness in the family. It is most sad--not the cancellation, but the illness! Still, things are looking a little better, so I am planning some more trips in future.

Hope you are all well.

It's always a disappointment to have to cancel plans for a trip you've been looking forward to. I hope things turn out so you will be able to do this trip sometime in the future.

I can relate......not neccessarily the illness....in terms of cancelling a trip I had planned aboard the City of New Orleans in late July. Things came up at home which required my attention and I made the decision to cancel just 20 hours before I was to have departed.

Here's to better execution next time.
