Anyone else notice that since Amtrak began administering the Guest Rewards program itself (as opposed to contracting it out as they did prior to October 1st) that points transferred from the Chase AGR Mastercard seem to transfer more slowly?
My points used to come over between the 18th and 21st of each month and here we are on the 28th and my latest round of points have still not arrived. They are 'overdue'.

While I'm not about to refute your statement, Mr. Presley, I am at a loss to understand why Amtrak took this program "in house". Now they are obligated to use $60K a year Agreement clerks where before they were using Outside Contractors that it is safe assumption were not "in the Union".

We can hope that Mr. Boardman will remind the unions of this - maybe he will get something in return.
For instance, wouldn't it be nice if the conductor held the OBS staff accountable for consistently providing the customer service passengers expect. Lots of good ones out there, but also some that could use some reminding of what's expected.
I don't think this is what congress had in mind when they look to Amtrak to be more cost effective.
