I remember that show well; as Mike Collyer, son of the host Bud Collyer, was a grade schoolmate at Greenwich Country Day.

I actually met Bud Collyer face to face in this life.

I think they pulled it from the market because the only way you could "feel stronger, faster" is if you happened to have iron deficiency anemia.

However, the fact that it contained 12% alcohol could possibly make you feel stronger and faster.

The company may still exist, but the product of the 50's fell victim to the public "catching on to" the deception under which it was marketed as well as the deception of some of the highly-rated tv programs it sponsored:
