I read on another forum that Canadian Pacifc hudson 2816 will be leaving to Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL on Norfolk Southern (NS) locomotive. A friend of mine was told me that it will be on CSX. But I think it was his guess work. Does anyone on this board has some input on this?

At 1:10pm CDT, 6/17/04, a steam train passed through Winona, MN heading north on the CP main line. By the time I got outside to have a look (my house is within 20 feet of the CP main line) I couldn't see the engine number but there were several maroon colored coaches labeled Canadian Pacific. They were mainly empty. A quick internet search and I'm assuming this was CP 2816 dead heading to Grand Excursion events. It took me by surprise since there has been nothing in the local media about this train passing through (unlike last fall when Milwaukee 261 was in town).
