quote:A small amount of a white powdery substance was found in the White House on Sunday evening, according to a person familiar with the episode, and an initial test by emergency response workers determined that it was cocaine.
President Biden and his family were away at Camp David when a uniformed Secret Service agent found the substance during a patrol of the West Wing around 6 p.m. on Sunday, the person said, prompting a brief shutdown of some of the White House campus as response workers assessed whether the substance was hazardous.
Later that evening, a test of the substance by hazmat crew officials returned a result: “We have a yellow bar saying cocaine hydrochloride,” an official said on a dispatch sent at 8:49 p.m. and logged by a website that gathers the agency’s radio communications. …

Wow Mr. Helfner; quoting from The Times!!!!!
Isn't that heresy????
Hunter is likely on his way to undoing Joe's presidency, but Joe is loyal to his inner circle, considering how he has had only two resignations from visible positions - Chief of Staff returning to private law practice (gosh, we can't make ends meet on $117K a year!!!!!), and a Press Secretary to become a TV journalist (MSNBC; where else?). Hunter was "a factor" in why I was expecting Joe to resign after this year's SOTU.

If the Times is doing its job, I have no problem pointing that out. Their long-standing editorializing is the huge problem, and there is a notorious history of that.
The coverup is ongoing; the location of the offending substance keeps changing every several hours. One former official of the CBP agency (also former FBI) laments the fact that it would normally take a mere half hour to pin down the source of such substances.

quote:The Secret Service is closing its investigation into cocaine found in the White House without naming a suspect, officials told lawmakers on Thursday.
The Secret Service briefed Oversight Committee members and staff about their investigation into the found cocaine, which was found in an area for storing electronics that can be accessed by both White House visitors and staff. President Biden was not at the White House at the time the cocaine was found.

So essentially the same organization(s) that can track January 6 suspects so handily cannot find this culprit. That is getting less and less believable.
