I'd have to go with Mr. Toy. He is very knowledgable and very friendly. His website is and travel logs are excellent. I also think littletrain is sorta funny and Coaststarlight99 has some great posts. Keep it up everyone!

My favorite is also Mr. Toy. He gives the best travel stories and his travel diaries are so well written that when reading them, you really feel that you are there on the trip with him. Now that is GOOD.

CK is another one ogf my favorites. He appears to be a "Folksy Type" if you know what I mean. CK never has a mean word against anyone and never puts anyone down for his opinion. I think his favorite line would be "Lets agree to disagree"

I am another one for Mr Toy. He is informative, uses proper English with little slang and abbreviations, and is polite to others.

Another vote for Mr. Toy! I've learned alot from him the past two years. Perhaps best, he told me about the advantages of the Guest Rewards Program & Credit Card. I've earned enough points for a free roundtrip coast to coast deluxe sleeper trip! Thank you Mr. Toy.

KA6BGJ, Thank you for the kind words. I've also enjoyed your posts. You have a unique sense of humor and you have often asked very good questions. Keep them coming!

I'd also like to vote for Dilly. Very informative and humor that often has me laughing so much I fall out of my chair!

polorberaucla, Great Question !!!

Yikes! When I saw the title of this thread I didn't want to single anyone out, because I like ALL of you. When I first came to this forum in the spring of 2000 I knew almost nothing. Prior to that I hadn't stepped on an Amtrak train in 16 years. Almost everything I know, you guys taught me!

And there are still gaps in my knowledge you can help me with when the need arises.

Thanks to all for the notes of appreciation.

Hey, Mr Toy, how much did all that cheerleading cost?

;-)

Unfortunately, due to a sluggish economy, I cut cheerleading out of this year's budget. This appears to be a spontaneous eruption.

I'm just wondering if the real reason why Mr. Toy seems to be getting all the votes here on the board was because in the 3 yrs. he has been on the board, he has more than 915 postings on this board. We all have seen his name more than any other person on the board.

Another vote for Mr. Toy!

Also like GeoffM's comments about travels, and MyfordBrowning on the Western US forum.

Some others from Amtrak that I haven't seen recently are LakeShoreLimited and Coach33333 (formerly Bus Lady).
