Some trains were cancelled, but should be back by now. With Hurricane 'Ivan the Terrible' on the horizon that could change again.

Last I heard it would make landfall east of Pensacola next week (heads up Sunset riders) but that could change...

Just heard on TV that an I-10 bridge in Pensacola washed away. Hope the cooresponding rr bridge is ok but-things will have to be checked before allowing anything across.

Hope everyone is ok from Ivan-all the way up the US !!

Now, we are watching Jeanne !! E-gad, nothing in my freezer that cannot be eaten by Mon. (just fill with ice). Have nightmares about losing power again for 6 days !

Cannot wait until my trip fr. West Palm Beach to Richmond, VA next month - then Albany, NY to Montreal on the 28th.
