Jasper and Vancouver BC on VIA Rail's Canadian?

Vancouver BC and Banff (via Kamloops) on the Rocky Mountaineer?

I'd like to add those miles traveled to my personal logs and cannot seem to find them.

Thanks

According to the VIA Rail schedules, Jasper is at 3600 km and Vancouver at 4460 km. That's 860 km, or 553.2 miles between Jasper and Vancouver.

Couldn't find the Rocky Mountaineer.

Ah, this site:

http://www.northwesttraveladvisor.com/northwest-vacation/rocky-mountaineer.html

says Banff-Vancouver is "about 600 miles" on the Rocky Mountaineer, which sounds right to me but of course is not exact if you need the precise mileage.

Per the November 1982 Official Railway Guide, it was 560 miles from Banff to Vancouver aboard the 'Canadian' on it's traditional Canadian Pacific route.

I would imagine that the current mileage is somewhat close to that but my source is nearly 25 years old and some things could have changed.....some line improvements maybe? How about some directional running arrangements between Vancouver and Kamloops between CN and CP? I don't think that the Rocky Mountaineer still uses a strictly CP route in both directions and that could alter the mileage ever so slightly. Terminal in Vancouver? Hasn't the Rocky Mountaineer recently moved into it's own facility? Another altering factor.

From the Rocky Mountaineer route guide, from my trip in 2005:
Vancouver > Kamloops: 460km/276 miles
Kamloops > Banff: 515km/309 miles

Thank you all! I will list 585 miles. I have the RM "newspaper" handout with mileage for all callouts, but it doesn't seem to start with Vancouver.
