I have discovered that the procedure for notifying us for private messages does not work at the moment. So if you are waiting for an answer to a private message may I suggest you check your profile page. The email notification isn't working either. I hope this is temporary. I almost missed 2 different messages..just happened to check.

Concur, I had one from Mr. Palmland that could well have gone unanswered. The previously active notification system here is clearly MIA.

I'm often amused by seeing what Google ads come up in different topic threads. On this page I see ads for emergency alert services. Google ad watching is an interesting desktop spectator sport.

Not on my computer,Gil. I still have to check "manually". It did come on for a few hors and then went off again.

Me too. I did send a message to the moderator and was told that the person in charge of such things had been notified and was working on the problem.
