Apparently, there was a decent sized fire this evening at the Crowne Plaza Holiday Inn in downtown Seattle on 6th Avenue this evening. I stayed there once before on an AmTrip in between the Coast Starlight and the Empire Builder.
If I'm not mistaken, Amtrak Vacations uses this hotel to book passengers who are on AmVacations, so I just wanted to give a heads-up in case anyone on here is booked at this hotel.

Too bad ---- my wife and I stayed there a couple years ago on our last western trip. It is quite a nice hotel, and we were whisked there from King Street Station and arrived, I believe, within 10 minutes of the arrival of the CS!!
