On Destination America from Nov 16th.

Now, I do like documentaries, but I do have some skepticism after having suffered shows like "Airport 24/7 Miami". So I withhold comment or speculation as to whether it'll be any good until at least the first episode.

Thanks for the heads-up. Got my DVR set for it.

For those in the Chicago area subscribing to Comcast, Destination America is @ 201.

News to me until I looked it up.

Sadly, I am not a subscriber to the level of Comcast that includes Channel 201, so I missed it. Possibly it will show up on Comcast on Demand.

It's an interesting series certainly. Over use of sound effects unfortunately (train whistle - same one each time which is obviously not necessarily the train in view at the time as they intersperse the clearly different whistles). Slight overdramatisation. Some continuity problems with different camera angles of the "same" train having different numbered engines on the front.

Great scenery, good photos of the Hurricane Express but would like to see more of the interior. While the off gridders are interesting, too bad they feel like they have to add drama. As a railfan, I'd like to see more of the railroad operations - shops, offices, personnel, and equipment.
