I haven't made a long-distance trip on sleeper trains in a while and was wondering what things are like on the Lakeshore and Capitol Ltd with regard to the dining changes. I don't care about the food as much as I was wondering where you eat it, esp on the Lakeshore. Is there any more private lounge for sleeping car PAX or just the usual lounges, where meeting fellow PAX would be far less organized than in dining cars?

Sojourner, while I have not had any first hand experience with "Fresh and Contemporary", there are reports that the food has improved somewhat now that hot items have been added to the Menu.

Passengers can have the Attendant bring the food to their room (although I would think Abe should join Alex in hand when alighting), or bring it themselves. They further can choose to have their food in the Diner, which reportedly, at least on the Lake Shore, is exclusively for Sleeper passengers.
