Flicking through a number of old magazines passed to me by a friend here in Telford, I came across a supplement published by The Railway Magazine in December 1990, “Eric Treacy: The Classic Years.”
The Rt. Revd. Eric Treacy MBE, LLD, Lord Bishop of Wakefield from 1968 until 1976, died on Appleby Station on 13th May 1978. He left behind a large collection of railway photographs, taken over more than four decades.

Reverend, in my church, Episcopal, which is of course your church over here, the title Right Reverend is reserved for the presiding Bishop over a Diosece.
But to the point, it seems as a good number of "Men of the Cloth" do hold an interest in the Iron Horse. I think the Chaplain (just a Reverend) at the Episcopal boarding school I went to, had such interests as well.
He left, and went on to "play church politics" @ St. John the Divine in NY, where he attained the title "Reverend Cannon".
Now so much for Episcopal/Anglican ranks, it appears most of the photos were taken circa 1960, or at least postwar. '60 was when I first set foot in the Mother Country - or more descriptive on a steam powered Southampton-Waterloo (London) "Boat Train".

Eric Treacy was the presiding bishop of Wakefield Diocese in Yorkshire - he took photographs from the 1930s through to his death in 1978.
