A to your Q, Mike, I did use Old Penn, both PRR and LIRR sides, as a paying passenger.
Unfortunately, His Honor The Mayor has paywalled his site - or at least that article. It appears that after a period of time, which looks like 24hrs, the Freebie is over and up goes the paywall.

This Times interview with former New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio certainly establishes there's not much in the way of love with Mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo.
