There are several presidential ranking surveys out there, such as this one that rates Joe at 14th best - and Trump 1.0 (first term) at 45, or dead last.

But the "Gold Standard" of these surveys, to me, is that compiled by CSPAN - and the one I have often cited in postings around here. That survey was last compiled during 2021. It, of course, did not rank Joe, but ranked Trump 1.0 at 41 out of 44.

This 2025 survey was expected to be completed by now and including a ranking of Joe's term and of course not including Trump 2.0.

So CSPAN; "where art thou?"

"Upon consultation with our survey's advisory team of historians, C-SPAN has decided to postpone this cycle's presidential leadership survey," Robin Newton, C-SPAN's media relations specialist, told Business Insider. "The consensus is that with a former president returning to office, conducting the survey now would turn it from historical analysis to punditry."
