On Tuesday, April 19, on the Travel Channel, there is going to be a show about the best train rides in American National Parks. The show is at 8pm EST and from advertising it looks pretty good. As I could tell, it will contain Amtrak, AOE, and local tourist railways through the parks. It is an hour long and should be interesting.

The Travel Channel shows another train show Thursday at 8pm ET. This one seems to focus on the AOE.

We watched that show last night. It covered the Empire Builder (Glacier Park), Alaska Railroad (Denali & Kenai Fiords NP), AOE (Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton NP), Grand Canyon Railway, and the Coast Starlight (Of course, the CS does not go to any national parks, but they showed how it goes NEAR Crater Lake and Mt. Rainier)

Anyone else happen to catch the History Channel's 'Modern Marvels' production on the Trans Siberian Railway that was aired Tuesday during "prime time'?.

Hey, after all, isn't this topic titled "TV Train Show Tuesday'?

I was so happy that the Coast Starlight (AMTRAK) was featured on Tuesday's show. The AOE was wonderful to watch, but Amtrak is more down to earth for me.

No, unfortunately, The Travel Channel never airs the same show twice. Never!

Have seen a few shows on PBS at various times and days about AOE trips and trips through national parks--all good and interesting.
